Had a truly awesome time in York today with my girlfriend! A minor miracle occurred, since the weather stayed sunny and hot all day - which is the perfect excuse for more Starbucks, in my opinion.
We managed to do the Jorvik Viking Centre, which was pretty cool and had a look around the Minster and the grounds, both of which were very impressive. I climbed up Clifford’s Tower (didn’t see the “do not climb” signs until after) and found a really nice vegan restaurant the Goji Cafe - which needs a shout out! Then we decided to be couply and have a walk around the Garden Museum, complete with a few self-timed photos.
Just a really, really lovely day that deserves a little blog space. The city’s so pretty and here’s to hoping for more trips there in the future. :)
