Note to self:
I really should stop trying to talk to squirrels when there’s people about at uni.

Day trip to York!
Had a truly awesome time in York today with my girlfriend! A minor miracle occurred, since the weather stayed sunny and hot all day - which is the perfect excuse for more Starbucks, in my opinion. We managed to do the Jorvik Viking Centre, which was pretty cool and had a look around the Minster and the grounds, both of which were very impressive. I climbed up Clifford’s Tower (didn’t...

Only in philosophy...
Could there be an academically accepted logical argument for the nonphysical existence of consciousness based on zombies. *Breathes* (1) It is conceivable that there be zombies. (2) If it is conceivable that there be zombies, it is metaphysically possible that there be zombies. (3) If it is metaphysically possible that there be zombies, then consciousness is nonphysical. Conclusion:...

My dad’s been living in a different hemisphere for years now, and as some kind of coping mechanism, you do learn to adjust to being one parent down. Except, it’s not quite that, is it? I’m...

Soup for the soul.
I believe… That just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do love each other.  That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.  That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for...

My Apple obsession explained. →
